Camp 2019

Entries for camp are now open on the entries page. Membership must be paid up. Pre camp rallies are now open also through the month of June every Monday evening at Barnadown, Gorey. All members must attend at least 3 of these rallies.

Minimus/Tetrathlon –

Championships are open for entries and all details are available on our blog and facebook. Last few training competitions are up on Facebook.

Mounted Games

We are delighted to welcome Ted Creed as the new Senior Games Trainer, training is starting Tuesday 21st May 2019.

Training for U10’s and Junior’s Mounted Games commencing 3rd week of March, Trainers confirmed as Lena Doyle U10’s & William Poole & Claire Byrne Juniors.

Dressage & Combined Training

The dressage tests for Pure Dressage, Combined Training and Eventing are now available to download from the IPC website:

The dressage test for Open Combined Training and Open Eventing will be the British Eventing Novice Dressage Test 112 (2010).  This is a new test.  The directives for this test can be downloaded from the IPC website. 

Area 4 Combined Training qualifier for PC Festival will be hosted by the Killinick’s July 20th.

All U12’s must qualify this year for the festival at the area 4 qualifier, this is a change to last year.


The Under 12 Combined Training and Under 12 Eventing Dressage Tests have also changed for 2019.  The new dressage test is the IPC Pre Novice Dressage Test 2019.  This is not a copyrighted test.  Therefore, the judges sheet is available to download from the IPC website. All other dressage tests will remain the same for 2019.


The Island Hunt PC are delighted to be hosting the Area 4 Showjumping qualifier for PC Festival – Alice Mernagh, Robbie Bailey and John Leddingham on July 12th by kind permission of the Cousins Family at Barnadown, Gorey. Training is taking place every Monday up until camp and for 1 lesson before the qualifier.

Polocrosse – UK Pony Club have invited members of the IPC who have played Polocrosse to participate in competitions later in the year, anyone interested please contact the Island Pony Club phone with name, age and experience.
